Chamber Member Input Meeting
February 18, 2026 (9:00 AM - 11:30 AM) (PST)
Description
Topic: Healthcare Recruitment & Retention
Join us for this quarter’s Chamber Members Meeting, where we’ll share key updates on Chamber activities, McLean Mill, Visitor Services, and our 2026 priorities. More importantly, this meeting is a chance for members to weigh in on the issues that matter most to their businesses and to help shape where the Chamber focuses its efforts next. What's the biggest issue you need the Chamber to advocate on in 2026?
Our keynote discussion will focus on health care recruitment and retention, an issue that impacts everyone in the Alberni Valley. Hear from local leaders working to attract and support health care professionals, and take part in a conversation about how the business community can play a practical role in being part of the solution.
This session will create space for members to hear context, ask questions, and share perspectives on how health care challenges impact workforce attraction, business operations, and long-term economic stability in our region.
Your participation matters and these conversations help inform the Chamber’s advocacy priorities and strengthen our collective voice.
This is an official Members Meeting and quorum is required. Please register if you plan to attend, as by-law updates and other special resolutions will be brought forward.
The meeting agenda are available in the new Member Info Hub and will be accessible to active members only.
