Before You Get Started

Please complete the application form below to apply for membership with the Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce. Most applications take 5–10 minutes to complete.

A few things to know:

  • Review our Membership Rate Sheet to compare membership options and choose the type that best fits your business or organization. If you’re unsure, select the closest option — our team will confirm if needed.
  • Business size is based on Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs). If your staffing changes seasonally, please estimate your average FTEs over the year.
  • All memberships come with a standard directory listing included.
  • You may pay online now or choose to be invoiced for payment later.
  • Once approved, you’ll receive a welcome email and an invitation to access the Member Info Hub.

Designed for community-focused organizations that want to stay connected and engaged. This membership includes a directory listing, voting rights, member pricing, advocacy input, and access to group benefits and networking opportunities. It supports collaboration while recognizing the unique role of non-profits in the local economy.

For individuals who want to support and stay connected to the local business community. Members receive access to member pricing, and select Chamber communications and opportunities. This level is best suited for professionals, retirees, or community champions not operating a business.

Created for local artists and makers who are current Community Arts Council (CAC) members in good standing and participating in the Chamber-operated Gift Shop. This membership includes a directory listing, member pricing, advocacy input, and eligibility to sell through the consignment program. It supports visibility, community connection, and creative entrepreneurship.

This rate is available exclusively to active CAC members for 2026 and 2027; non arts council members are not eligible to purchase this membership. 

For small businesses looking to stay visible, connected, and informed. Members receive a directory listing, access to member pricing, advocacy input, and opportunities to connect with other local businesses. This level ensures your business has a voice while staying engaged with the Chamber community.

For major employers and organizations with a vested interest in the Alberni Valley’s economic future. This membership includes enhanced visibility through the Chamber, voting rights, access to group benefits, and participation in member-to-member programs. This level is allows for a more active role in regional advocacy, leadership conversations, and long-term economic planning.

For growing organizations that want enhanced visibility and stronger engagement. This membership includes an enhanced directory listing, member pricing, advocacy and policy input, and access to group benefits and member-to-member opportunities. Ideal for businesses expanding their footprint in the Alberni Valley.

Created to support new and emerging businesses as they get established. Start-Up members receive a directory listing, member pricing, access to group benefits, and opportunities to connect through the member-to-member hub. A practical entry point into the Chamber network during early growth stages.
