Established in 1972, The Port Alberni Shelter Society (PASS) is a multi-service charitable organization that provides housing, services and support to those experiencing homelessness or most at-risk. PASS operates an emergency shelter, supportive housing, family housing, a sobering site, a harm reduction facility, local vegetable farm and provides clothing, nutritious meals, career training and other services.
