Cheryl is a mixed media lifelong artist who lives, works, and plays in the beautiful Alberni Valley. She is drawn to multiple mediums because she loves the variety and challenge of testing herself against difficult practises. For this reason she loves the complexity of watercolour. Frehlich's art is largely inspired by the beauty of nature and the fond memories of her late father, a well-known veterinarian from Saskatchewan. Cheryl has lived from Saskatchewan, to Prince George, and now has settled in to the warmth and beauty of the Alberni Valley.

Stone sculptor in Vancouver Island Marble. I collect my own marble from deposits on Vancouver Island and Quadra Island. There are several pieces of mine at the new gift shop at the Chamber of Commerce building in Port Alberni. They are marble Orca Dorsal Fins. My work is also available at T.O.S.H. in Qualicum Beach and The Mac in Parksville.
