Family Farms Day

Alberni Valley Food Security Society partners with Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District for this annual event held in September. Family Farms Day is an excellent way to learn more about local agriculture and meet farmers in the Alberni Valley. A variety of urban and rural sites participate in the self-guided tour and day of festivities. We are always interested in including new sites that illustrate unique agriculture, big or small in the community.
